NoRTEC is a regional Workforce Development Board that provides federal Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act programs in eleven Northern California counties. We are currently seeking a full-time Executive Director to lead the organization, a role that offers excellent pay and benefits.

Ready to lead a large regional workforce development organization? NoRTEC is seeking a visionary Executive Director to serve as our chief executive and strategic leader. In this role you would oversee operations, guide regional partnerships, manage a multimillion-dollar public budget, and ensure compliance with WIOA across 11 Northern California counties and 13 America's Job Centers of California. You would also lead and develop a high-performing team, pursue new funding opportunities, and represent NoRTEC in state and national coalitions.

We are looking for a collaborative leader with seven or more years of executive-level experience in workforce or economic development, strong financial and grant management skills, and a bachelor's degree (master's preferred). The position follows a hybrid schedule with an emphasis on in-person leadership, so candidates should reside in the North State region or be willing to relocate.
