NoRTEC has been conditionally approved for $8 Million to provide temporary jobs for flood cleanup in our 11 counties. This funding will allow us to provide temporary workers to local governmental agencies and non-profits to clean up and repair damage from this winter’s flooding.
The California Workforce Development Board certified NoRTEC as a high performing local workforce development board. With this certification comes eligibility to receive incentive funding from the Governor’s discretionary fund. NoRTEC was just awarded $54,839 of incentive funding for PY 2016/2017.
